What documents are required for traveling with children and teenagers?
Birth certificate and/or an official photo ID (original or certified copy) of the minor.
If accompanied by a relative (grandparents, uncles/aunts, and siblings) over 18 years old, it’s necessary to present the minor's birth certificate to prove relationship. If not accompanied by a relative, authorization issued by the juvenile court is required; Belo Horizonte bus station has one.

What does the law say about traveling with children and teenagers under 16 years old?
Art. 1° No child or teenager under 16 years old is allowed to travel outside their local area without being accompanied by parents or guardians, unless specifically authorized.
Art. 2° Authorization for travel with children and teenagers under 16 years old within the national territory is not required when:
I – It involves an adjacent area to the child’s or teenager’s place of residence, within the same state or metropolitan region; and
II – the child or teenager under 16 years old is accompanied by:
III – the child or teenager under 16 years old travels unaccompanied with express authorization by one of the parents or legal guardian, through a public deed or private document with a notarized signature; and
IV – the child or teenager under 16 years old presents a valid passport with express authorization for traveling abroad unaccompanied.
Art. 3° Authorizations issued by parents or legal guardians must specify the validity period, and in case of omission, the authorization is valid for two years.
– To prove relationship, the original or certified copy of the birth certificate must be presented.
– For children over 12 years old, it is mandatory to present an official photo ID (Identity Card, Passport, Work Card, etc.) as they cannot travel with just a birth certificate.

If I miss the bus schedule, can I return the ticket?
No, the ticket can only be revalidated if the passenger arrives at least 12 (twelve) hours before the scheduled boarding time, under the terms of State Law 13.655/00, Article 1, Section XVII, regulated by State Decree 44.603/07.
And if I lose the ticket?
In the event of losing the ticket, the passenger will also lose the right to travel or any financial reimbursement. According to current regulations, boarding without a ticket is a serious offense subject to fines.
Can I cancel a ticket?
If you decide to cancel your trip, it is necessary to do so at least 12 (twelve) hours before the scheduled boarding time, according to state legislation (State Law 13.655/00, regulated by State Decree 44.603/07).

If you have the ticket in hand, you must deliver it at any ticket office, as the ticket is a fiscal document. The company will refund via bank deposit within 30 (thirty) days.

Ticket Validity (State Law 13.655/00)
The user has the legal right for rebooking or refund of the ticket in case of cancellation. However, some rules defined by the law itself must be observed, namely the State of Minas Gerais Law no. 13.655/00, regulated by Decree no. 44.603/07.
Therefore, to have the right to rebook or cancel the ticket, the user must request it at least 12 (twelve) hours before the scheduled travel time and through the same channel where the purchase was made, even for tickets purchased online on our official site. Once this deadline has passed, the ticket will no longer be valid, with no right to refund or revalidation.
The refund will be made to the customer's nominated bank account within 30 (thirty) days from the reimbursement request. In the case of rebooking, the user can change their ticket to a period of up to 30 (thirty) days from the ticket date.

1 – Tickets can be purchased across all sales channels;
2 – To ensure the comfort of the pet and other passengers, you must purchase the seat next to the owner (subject to seat availability);
3 – We do not transport animals whose species, size, ferocity, venom, or health could compromise the safety and well-being of passengers;
4 – It is mandatory that the pet remains in a carrier that is clean and free from waste, water, and food;
5 – The pet must stay inside the carrier to ensure its hygiene, comfort, and safety, as well as that of other passengers;
6 – Maximum weight of 10 kg including the carrier, accommodated on the adjacent seat, except in exceptional cases;
What are the necessary documents for transporting pets?
It is mandatory to present a Health Certificate (for dogs and cats) or an Animal Transport Guide (GTA) for others at boarding;
1 – Documents must be issued within a maximum of 15 days before the trip and signed by a veterinarian;
2 – For transporting wild animals, present authorization from IBAMA and the respective sanitary health certificate;
Can I travel with a guide dog?
Yes, according to the guidelines below:
1 – There will be no charge for the ticket;
2 – The dog can only board accompanied by its owner who has a visual impairment;
3 – It is permitted to stay in the vehicle aisle;
4 – Must be equipped with a leash, harness, and identification tag on the neck;
5 – Present vaccination card and ID from a guide dog training center;
How to purchase a ticket for the pet?
The ticket can be purchased through all sales channels and follow these criteria:
1 – The pet must occupy a seat next to the responsible person, and transport will depend on the availability of an adjacent seat, making it mandatory to purchase the ticket;
2 – The information provided on the ticket will be the same as that of the person responsible for the transported pet;
3 – Refund, rescheduling, or cancellation rules for the pet's ticket will follow the same procedures as for regular users;

Law No. 21,121/14 grants people with disabilities and those over the age of 65 with an individual income below two minimum wages the right to travel for free to any municipality in Minas;
Categories eligible for the benefit:
A person with a disability, as defined by State Law No. 13,465 of 1/12/00, and Federal Decree No. 3,298 of 12/20/99, falls under these categories.
What is needed to request the free travel allowance?
The criteria established according to Law No. 21,121/14 and Decree No. 46,434/14:

How to obtain a free ticket?
A reservation must be made in advance, as per the guidelines and Decree No. 46,434/14:
1 – Reservation made based on the order of request precedence;
2 – Must be requested only at ticket counters up to 12 hours before the departure time of the vehicle, with the option to request a return ticket;
3 – No more than one ticket will be reserved for the same applicant, without a minimum interval of 12 hours between trips;
4 – Two seats per vehicle are available for benefit users;
5 – It is necessary to arrive at the ticket counter up to 30 minutes before the trip to confirm the reservation (except boardings at sectional stops);
6 – In the event of cancellation, it must be communicated in advance to the counter to cancel the ticket;

The maximum weight for baggage is 25kg, with a maximum volume of 1 cubic meter, transported in the luggage compartment. For the overhead compartment, the limit is 5kg.
